For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as Senior Transport Engineer.Your duties and responsibilities include:Serving as the main contact person for unusual and more complex transport engineering requests for tendering and execution phasesManagement and leadership of project staff, in consultation with the operations managerProviding technical and engineering support to the team, advising staff as requiredEnsuring technical quality assurance in the application of technical standards and guidelinesCreation and maintenance of technical standards (e.g. calculations, tools and templates)Specific planning and execution of overdimensional cargo and heavy lift moves across all transportation modes and handling typesCarrying out customized route, port and site surveys, taking into account cargo details, means of transportation, infrastructure and local and international legislationCreation of procedural instructionsVisualization of the entire process with the help of AutoCADCarrying out heavy transport, heavy engineering and installation of customized mechanical and rigging constructionsDrawing up feasibility studies, production drawings and other material calculations for lifting and rigging systemsProvision of design drawings and calculations for clientsProvision of project documentation, including technical drawings, calculations, ballast plans, feasibility studies and project correspondenceSetting up and maintaining databasesSupporting projects with technical and commercial proposals and presentations What you can contribute: An engineering background or completion of a similar technically orientated training courseExcellent CAD skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, also internationallyYour open-minded and dynamic personalityYour ability to keep a cool head even under intense pressureYour client-oriented attitude, which helps you to easily build relationships with subcontractors and clientsA deep understanding of quality, safety and health protectionWillingness to travel 20–25% What we offer you:A family-owned and run company, deugro group has been active in the project logistics industry for nearly 100 years.
