Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
In this role, you will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.
Assist in developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets for ongoing and potential projects
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for various project phases
Collaborate with estimators and quantity surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimates
Support the preparation and review of tender documents and contract agreements
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in evaluating and selecting potential contractors and subcontractors
Prepare and maintain project schedules and resource allocation plans
Contribute to the development of project management plans and strategies
Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws and regulations throughout all project phases
Maintain organized documentation and records for all project activities
Support the senior project manager in day-to-day project management tasks
Strong knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contracts
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent skills in budgeting, cost estimation, and scheduling
Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Knowledge of UAE construction laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in building projects is required
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented approach to project documentation and reporting
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
