Sr. Finance systems specialist (FICO)

Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting new and existing process/changes within the SAP FICO modules. Sr. Finance systems specialist play a crucial role in ensuring the financial applications are functioning properly and the operations within finance organization are executed smoothly.Consulting and Analysis:Provide support and find solutions for complex business scenarios and translate them into actionable plans to be later configured by IT within the SAP FICO module.Advise on best practices and potential improvements to boost efficiency of the current financial processes/operations.Analyze business needs and identify areas for improvement within FICO functionalities.Implementation and Configuration:Work closely with IT to configure and customize the SAP FICO module to meet specific client requirements.Develop and implement innovative solutions within SAP FICO module.Work with different finance functions for business requirements collection, documentation and sign off.Manage and execute project plans related to FICO implementations and help in the execution of the UAT.Support and Maintenance:Troubleshoot FICO-related issues and provide technical support to end-users.Maintain and update financial applications to ensure smooth operation and compliance with regulations.Develop user manuals and training materials for FICO functionalities.Participating in system upgrades and migrations.Support the end users with end-to-end processes related to different sub modules in FICO such as Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, General ledger, and Asset accounting.Coordinate between finance and different stakeholders outside finance such HR, procurement and sales to ensure all points of integrations are properly addressed and no impact on finance operations.Staying updated on the latest FICO features and industry trends. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, MIS, computer science, information technology, or a related field. SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.In-depth knowledge of the SAP FICO module, including FI and CO functionalities.Project management skills to manage FICO implementations effectively.Proficiency in using SAP configuration tools and functionalities.
