Civil Technician

OverviewElement has an opportunity for a Civil Material Technician for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports. Candidates should ideally have gained considerable experience in construction material testing either with a commercial test house or contractor.ResponsibilitiesPerform soil, concrete and aggregate testingConduct density testSampling of concrete for compression and flexural testConduct slump testingHave an idea / conduct asphalt testing (preferable)Prepare and compile reportsSkills / QualificationsDiploma / degree in Civils with at least 2 year experience in similar roleGood communication skills and ability to work in teams and to work under pressureCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
