Our client is seeking a Senior Specialist, QHSE to provide & promote effective a positive quality based health, safety and environmental culture to ensure compliance with QHSE standards, regulations, policies and procedures to maintain a free injuries, hazards and accident workplace. Key Results Accountabilities: * Continuous improvement of QHSE programs and risk management to minimize risks and hazards. * Provide training on hazards, risk control, QHSE practices, accident management and reporting procedures when required to promote the QHSE culture within the company. * Obtain proposed changes related to QHSE aspects by Liaising with SRRPD. * Develop and update corrective and preventive action plans with proper root cause analysis. * Develop, implement and ensure compliance with the company's QHSE strategies, plans, polices, standards, procedures through applying international best practices. * Supervise and undertake independent investigation of railway accidents and other safety incident events and make recommendations to improve safety and prevent further occurrences. * Conduct QHSE internal audit and inspection, and ensure compliance with the company's QHSE. Planned audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure that all departments investigate and report accident/incident and recommend Proactive solutions to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents based on accident data and in compliance with QHSE standards and procedures * Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.Education * Bachelor degree in Engineering: Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Industrial/ Mechatronics from a recognized university, Master preferred, with rail experience.
