The team of over +190 staff includes domain specialists, operations experts, data scientists, solution architects, software developers, engineers and data analysts from different countries - all committed to delivering impact.Presight is an operating company of G42, UAE's leading AI and Cloud Computing company that champions AI as drivers that power progress, propelled by the combination of exceptional people and technology.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilitiesReporting to the Data Team Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:FunctionalDevelop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for the application, according to business requirements in UNIX and Windows environments.Develop PL/SQL store procedures, packages, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and data loading (ETL).Work with advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views, and dynamic SQL.Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures.Develop PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs.Create database tables, create various DB queries, and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project.Detail and problem-solving oriented in ETL, jobs, and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement.Knowledge on any BI reporting is advantage.Extensively worked with third-party database tools like TOAD & PL/SQL Developer.Skills And Attributes For SuccessThe yardsticks of your performance would include cost savings achieved, quantum of customer reported defects, adherence to policies, procedures & quality standards, number of daily tests executed, and customer NPS.QualificationsTo qualify, you must haveBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle DatabasesIdeally, candidate has Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) certificate. Ideally, you’ll also needExperience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), performance tuning, Data Partitioning, managing schemas, data security, report generation and DB clustering technologies, creating and configuring 24x7 highly-available databases.Extensive UNIX/LINUX experienceHands-on experience with DB standards and end-user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technologyStrong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment with latest versions, logical/physical standby, ETL, replicationMust be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.Experience in an organization with a key reliance on 24/7 reliability on its database What we look for:If you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adapt to ambiguity, you will fit right in.
