The successful candidate will provide HVAC and services including calculations and modelling. He will work closely and in collaboration with Ramboll global teams including KSA, UK, Singapore, India, and USA offices.We have a supporting and collaborative culture and enjoy what we do! We currently focus on digital and parametric design and believe that the future of our industry lies in working smarter, not harder.Responsibilities:Perform cooling and heating load calculations using IES and/or Rhino.Prepare schematics layouts and equipment schedules.Perform a simple design modelling task using Revit.Coordination with other disciplines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Work independently with minimum supervision.QualificationsQualificationsPERSON SPECIFICATION QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or building service EngineeringExperienceMinimum of 2 years’ design experience, experience in Middle East projects is preferable.Technical Skills / KnowlegdeSpecific areas of anticipated technical skills include:Proven ability to carry out both manual and computer aided calculations.Detailed knowledge of heat load calculation, design software such as HAP, IES, Rhino etcAdequate knowledge of Revit / digitalization techniques is preferable.Knowledge of local and international design standards, BSEN, ASHRAE, NFPA, etcFull knowledge of local statutory authorities’ regulations and submission requirements in the middle east.Knowledge of HVAC design PrinciplesMaintain and participate in CPD events to develop own expertise.Additional InformationAbout RambollFounded in Denmark, Ramboll is a foundation-owned people company.
