In this role you will be reporting to Project Operations Manager and will be responsible to lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.Your responsibilitiesManaging projects with value from 5 : 10 MUSD per year, leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelinesAllocating project tasks, motivating, monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones, providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projectsEnsuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilizationMonitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow and identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursuedCapturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project, ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed, coordinating with Supply Chain Management & successfully procuring required services, materials for the project from external and internal suppliersSupporting Supply Chain in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes, acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issuesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders, ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety and environmental policies Your backgroundBachelor's degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferablePMP certification or ABB project management certification is an advantageExperience developed in utilities, power stations and energy market standards and specifications in Arabian Gulf Countries specially Saudi Arabia Market will be an advantageExtensive knowledge in SAP will be an advantage and knowledge in Microsoft Office is a mustFluency in English language is mandatory, French will be an advantageBenefitsRetirement planMore about usABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
