A Snapshot of Your DayThis role is for Project Management Professionals who want to join our TI EAD ME team and help us transform industry landscape and transition society toward a more sustainable future.If you really want to make a difference – make it with us!Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry has exciting new opportunities for a Project Manager for the delivery of a number of complex projects such as: Automation technology for on and off-shore solutions for the Oil and Gas IndustryModification, upgrade and replacement of electrical and automation infrastructure in Oil and Gas industryThe Project Manager for Siemens Energy TI EAD ME is the owner of the project and responsible to design, develop, and deliver customer projects (categories S and C), according to Project Management standards (PM@SE) and customer requirements, with end-to-end responsibility for economic results, quality and schedule.How you’ll make an impact?Execution of Projects:Managing the project throughout the project life cycle until provisional acceptance (PAC)Handling relevant planning elements and milestone resultsInvolving the relevant partners in the sales/project initiation phasePerforming contract reading and developing action plan to mitigate risks, drive opportunities, and manage contractual obligationsBeing responsible for the technical solution and the integration of all (sub-)systemsConducing regular project status meetings and organizes acceptance of milestone work resultsDocumenting all work results according to the valid standardsManaging acceptance (tests) and final project handoverExercising ownership for quality and EHS for the entire projectConducting active change and claim management Manage Customer Requirements:Managing of customer expectations and proactively solving of issues and increase customer satisfactionActively gathering of information on the customer and customer's strategies, requirements, and targetsTogether with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager, consulting customers on technical solutionsClarifying customers' targets and requirements, and/or specification in request for variations and leading of negotiation with customersPerforming lessons learned activities and feeding the results into own project and organization Manage project finances:Taking full responsibility and ownership to achieve the project’s financial targetsVerifying the project offer/order entry calculation, identify and recording of changesEnsuring regular financial controlling and reporting according to regulationsActively perusing measures to increase project gross profit, reducing/mitigating risks, implementing cost savings and developing and implanting opportunitiesIdentifying and reporting non-conformances (NC) and minimizes impacts arising from potential non-conformance costsEnsuring that the results of risk assessments are appropriately reflected in project calculationFostering change orders with positive margin contributionManage project team:Agreeing targets and work packages with project team and delegates defined work packagesActively seeking and providing feedback (e.g., team members, managers, customers)Implementing a environment, which encourages open communication and encouraging a speak-up cultureInvolving the project team in all relevant project issues, active communicationTaking responsibility for own and team-members' work life balanceSupporting team-members' personal developmentFostering ownership culture within the project teamWhat you bring?A graduate degree in the field of Electrical Engineering is highly preferable and having an experience on automation projects will be an added advantage. Candidates with different qualifications may be considered based on relevant experience.7-10 years of professional experience in a technical environment (Preferably automation or electrification projects)Knowledge and Experience with execution of projects, preferably in the Oil and Gas IndustryExperience in leading and managing multi-cultural teams in an exemplary and inspirational mannerExperience in project execution within the defined requirements (e.g. safety, time, cost, quality and functionality/system performanceProficient in the use of MS Project or other Project Management softwareMust have fluency in English and is capable to communicate with our Global Operations communityGlobal mindset.
