The Opportunity:Student Affairs Deanship is looking for an incumbent for the position of Sports and Recreation Assistant and Life Guard to provide support in the sports and recreation activities.The Responsibilities: • Performs swimming pool Life Guard duties• Acts as a primary point of contact for Sports and Recreation facilities users and keeps log of guests and visitors.• Ensures sports facilities are in safe working order and clean. Performs regular general maintenance and keeps a record of daily activities and follows the planned schedule.• Has a general knowledge of the sports and fitness rules, regulations and safety measures, and assist users when needed.• Assists with special events. • Collects, arranges, supervises and returns equipment for special events.• Perform other duties as assigned.The Requirements: Must possess a Minimum of a high school level education and a minimum of 0-1 years of experience in the Sports/Fitness assistant and Life Guard or an equivalent combination of education, skill or experience.Other essential requirements:Life Guard Certificate, UAE resident, excellent written and spoken English language.The Benefits:The University’s benefits package is attractive.While we appreciate all applications, you will be contacted only if you are shortlisted for an interview.
