Social Media Designer

Job DescriptionThe designer role is to create and implement visual concepts and designs as per the clients’ requirements. This role is a one year project role, and a secondment to one of our top clients based in Abu Dhabi.Main ResponsibilitiesDetermine how best to represent a concept visuallyDetermine which photographs, art, or other design elements to useDevelop the overall look or style of a publication, an advertising campaign, or a theater, television, or film setManage graphic designersReview and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff membersTalk to clients to develop an artistic approach and styleCoordinate activities with other artistic and creative departmentsDevelop detailed budgets and timelinesPresent designs to clients for approvalManage projects and clientsDesign and develop multimedia-based layouts, graphics, animation, video, sound and/or content for clients’ use in presentations, video productions, multimedia programs, websites, and other electronic media.Work with clients and project team to review and recommend design options, functionality, and programming needs.Design Web interfaces; develops layout design and concept, selects and secures appropriate illustrative materials to be used, create engaging animations using After Effects & other animation applications Qualifications And RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of relevant agency experienceBanking industry experience is a plusBachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalentMust reside in Abu Dhabi or be willing to relocate.Fluent in both English and Arabic both written and verbalExcellent client and interpersonal skills; ability to manage independent client relationships and communicate effectively by phone, email, and in-personWell-versed in current events and headline news at local, national, and international levelsFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, media databases and social media networkAbout APCOAPCO Worldwide is an advisory and advocacy consultancy helping leading public and private sector organizations be catalysts for progress by navigating the challenges of today, acting with agility, anticipating social risk and building organizational reputations, relationships and solutions to succeed.
