How You’ll Make An ImpactBe a part of vibrant Finance team providing diverse knowledge base, various interesting financial analysis/controlling tasks, Business Administration topics. This role provides you with fundamental Finance knowledge in an area of today’s most important topic the energy transition. This role could provide you with visibility for further development and a chance to grow with Siemens Energy Finance organization. To comply with the Emiritization This roles entails the following:You will be a member of the UAE accounting team and will support timely and accurate month/ quarter end closing and reporting. Supporting in day-to-day accounting topics related to financial modules in SAP in adherence to Siemens Energy’s Financial Reporting GuidelinesMonitor and analyze key Balance Sheet positions such as Unallocated AR, Advances to Suppliers, Retention, Advances from Customers.Support cash box custodian in handling cash related transactions – initiation, posting and reporting.Support accounting lead in preparation of financial statements and in internal/ external audits.Be an enabler of collaboration and team-spirit by supporting the UAE Accounting team in supporting with office related administrative topics.Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives and drive digitalization in processes and tools.Support finance community in projects related to process efficiency/ simplification, digital transformation (Tools roll out, enhancements) in coordination with key finance functions and Business Area Finance teams.What You BringBachelor’s in accounting, Finance, Business administration or similarMinimum 1 year of experience in finance/ accounting with good analytical skills.Good written and spoken communication skills (English)Strong collaboration skillsResults-oriented mind-set, ability to work in cross cultural team and a focus on accuracy, quality, and timeliness.SAP (ERP) user knowledge is an added advantage.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
