This system will integrate with many existing systems to share data and services. A software ecosystem will also be built to help future business partners to contribute and benefit from this system. Because the integration involves many legacy systems, you are expected to have a deep understanding and rich experience of various software systems, databases, interfaces, and protocols, including legacy and current ones.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirements and design solutions to meet project goals and constraintsCollaborate with external teams to integrate other systems and resolve technical issues in the systems integration. Analyze the performance bottle necks between the integrated systems, include but not limited to database performance, service performance, network bandwidthEnsure software quality and performance through testing, debugging and optimizationDocument software design, testing procedures, and resultsEstablish workarounds and protocols for integrating systems that lack proper documentation or APIsProactively identify and address potential integration issues and limitationsUtilize creative problem-solving skills to overcome technical obstacles and ensure seamless integration of the existing systemsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with partners and stakeholders through effective communication and collaborationCommunicate effectively with partners with varying levels of technical knowledge to gather requirements, explain technical solutions, and provide status updatesQualifications8+ years PC/Internet based software development experience including analysis, technical design, coding and testingBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldStrong experience in software development and system integrationProficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, or similarVery familiar with Linux system and Shell scriptsKnowledge of integration technologies, such as REST APIs, message queues, and service busesFamiliar with containerization technologies and have at least 2 years docker experienceExperience with reverse engineering and analyzing complex systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with cloud technologies and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions is a plus
