Product and Event Director

The purpose of the role of the Product & Event Director is to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the development, execution, and enhancement of the Esports World Cup and associated products to create a world-leading event experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a comprehensive strategy for EWC and related events End-to-end ownership of EWC’s design choices (titles, qualifiers, activities, venues, prize pools, etc.) Enable the implementation of design choices by collaboration with internal departments and vendors Develop and enable the Clubs Championship concept Create the regulation framework with rulebooks for individual tournaments, Clubs Championship, regulations for participants Develop and manage the broadcasting strategy Annual revision of the product concept, incl. benchmarking, screening of other esports events and league structures Supervise the operations of the World Cup and support product/event-related topics, incl. providing onside support throughout the event Define and monitor strategic key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of events to drive decision-making and continuous improvement Collect feedback after the tournament and develop action-plan going forward Manage overall product governance, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting/status reports Work closely with the Clubs and Players, Community, Games (Publishing), and Commercial teams6+ years of experience in the esports industry University degree in Business Administration, Media Management, or a related field Deep understanding of gaming genres relevant to esports, league structure, and global esports event scene Proven experience in leadership roles within event management, with a focus on gaming or esports Established relationships with esports clubs and the broader esports ecosystem Experience in working in a project-based multi-stakeholder environmentVery good written and verbal communication skills in English Willingness to move to Riyadh BenefitsRelocation support Transportation allowance Competitive compensation Housing allowance VIP medical insurance Opportunity to work on a new exciting project with a group of passionate professionals.
