Has a good understanding of digital technology, their processes and how they add value.As a Power BI Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for developing applications and dashboards using Business Intelligence platform such Microsoft Power BI, among others.Your new role, what's involved?Design, develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. Creating and maintaining reports from various sources of data like Oracle Data Warehouse, Oracle EBS, MS SQL, Cloud Solutions, Flat files, among others. Expertise in building data visualizations to highlight patterns in the data from unstructured and structured data sets. See/understand the end-to-end architecture of the project from source system to Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to data model to Power BI. Provide input/guidance on how to improve/update EDW architecture to be scalable/flexible to accommodate additional metrics/requirements for future sprints. Hands-on experience, building/updating/extending EDW architecture and data. Participate/Lead technical delivery for enterprise grade projects from end-to-end. Provide expert technical solution architecture guidance. Mentor team members. Work directly with project team members to imagine, design and develop Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions. Be an industry expert on delivering Business Intelligence Platforms. Works on multiple Digital Innovation projects from initiation to completion. Communicate with Digital/BIM and Project stakeholders, including IT managers. Use of interactive technology and collaboration tools to translate design, produce training and develop UX experiences. Interact with users to understand business processes and gather user requirements comprehensively. Drafting/reviewing systems specifications, adhering to functional requirements. Conducting comprehensive systems testing to ensure bug-free programs. Liaising and communicating the agreed requirements to outsourcers. Prepare Digital project specific Technical Requirement Specs. Perform Coding (where required) / Testing / Implementation. Prepare and/or review Approved Test Plan/ Test Specs Perform Quality Review for Implementations. Prepare Training Material and conduct User training. Resolve rollout issues, providing swift resolutions to problems. Manage the development of the software developed by a software partner. Resolve Interface issues between the different used Platforms,Support in ensuring reliability and maintainability of an enterprise software solution. Explore innovative technologies and evaluate their relevance. Conceptualize the usage of modern technology and adapt to enhance its product value. Reporting to the Line Manager in a structured manner. We'd love to hear from you if you have:University degree or Diploma in Computer Science and/or Information Technology. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Technology Consulting and collaboration with substantial, complex projects being involved in several of the following activities: requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, prototype demonstrations, testing, integration, data migration, training, post ‘go live’ support. Proven experience (4 years minimum) of developing and building visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, SSAS Tabular Models. Strong hands-on Experience in database systems such as Oracle, NoSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. Able to define a data model, create and customize visualizations, hierarchies and drill-down in Power BI. Proven knowledge of publishing, sharing, and exploring data. Ability to define model with calculated columns, measures, calculated tables using DAX, clean and transform data with the Query Editor. Ability to customize and design advanced visualizations and optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance. Ability to configure and setup gateways, developing, maintaining, publishing, and supporting dashboards. Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a customer and solution-oriented mindsetHigh Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Project). Clean-Code oriented. Proficiency on working in SharePoint environments. Excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies and how clients can derive value from their Microsoft investmentGood understanding of functional and process design and requirements plus ability to translate business / functional requirements into technical solutionsKnowledge of Modern Web architectureProven experience with Agile development methodologies. Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment. Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks. Hands-on experience in software development using any of the following: Python, C#, C++, Java, .NET, JSON, JavaScript frameworks and deployment to Cloud platform/servicesExperience in implementing/managing applications to public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience working within a multi-national working environment would be beneficial. Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
