Reporting Manager - (MID0002ZV) Your ImpactWorking closely with the project delivery and controls team, responsible for designing, developing and implementing reporting solutions using both standard Microsoft office and Microsoft Power BI. Required to visualize and analyze data, create dashboards and reports, and automate data workflows across the projects/programs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, design data models, and create visualizations to support data-driven decision-making. Work with counterparts across other districts to drive consistency.The post holder will; be pragmatic, be comfortable working in complex structures, be able to manage multiple stakeholders, be accountable for tasks assigned, be curious, always look to add value and create scalable elegant solutions to complex problems.Specific Responsibilities Support the Design, develop and maintenance Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements. Ability to work with program functions to understand their reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Identify trends, patterns and insights that will support business decisions. Create data models and write queries to extract, transform and load data from various sources into Power BI. Manage and maintain data sources to ensure accurate and consistent reporting. Automate data workflows and optimize data models to ensure efficient data processing and analysis. Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data governance processes. Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Power BI reports and dashboards. Support the training of end-users on the use of Power BI solutions. Document and maintain month end data archive of all data that feeds into the Power BI reports. Develop documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, user guides, and technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with new Power BI features and technologies.Preferred Education/ExperienceHere's What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Very good experience in Power BI development and implementation. Strong experience in SQL, DAX, and Power Query. Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, and data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Azure, Power Apps, and Power Automate is a plus.Skills/CompetenciesProven ability to work with a large group of senior technical personnel, the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes, mentoring, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required. Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. This includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues.
