This role is central to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of legal and other invoice payments, as well as playing a crucial part in financial reporting and reconciliation of accounts.Position Overview:The Accountant will manage and monitor the accounting software solutions, play a key role in the implementation of new billing systems, and ensure the precise management of legal, tax, and procurement-related payments. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in accounting within fast-paced environments, looking to leverage their skills in a dynamic and supportive team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the newly implemented accounting software, tracking legal billings and facilitating the launch of new billing systems.Ensure accurate invoice processing, including VAT payments, and correct allocation to GL accounts.Conduct regular reviews of legal invoice payments for errors or duplications and maintain detailed records of all transactions.Perform timely reconciliations of accounts related to legal expenditures.Assist in vendor setup, onboarding, and the administration of accruals and legal budgeting.Analyze payments by currency and prepare comprehensive payment instructions for banking operations.Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in the review of Facilities Management and Operational expenses payments.Participate in the training and development of junior team members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, complemented by an accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, etc.).At least 3 years of general accounting experience, preferably within the financial and legal services industry in the UAE.Proficient knowledge of Oracle Finance and a solid understanding of UAE VAT law.Exceptional analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds.Why Join?Take a pivotal role in the financial operations of a reputable organization, contributing to its efficiency and success.Opportunity to be part of an innovative team, driving the implementation of cutting-edge accounting solutions.Competitive salary and benefits, with a focus on professional growth and development in a supportive environment.This position offers a unique chance for an Accountant to advance their career by managing critical financial processes and systems.
