We are currently looking for an organized and dynamic Logistics Assistant to support our operations team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the logistics sector and eager to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.Responsibilities:Assist in managing inventory and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.Support the coordination of shipment and delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.Help in processing necessary documentation for shipping and receiving goods, including invoices, bills of lading, and other shipping orders.Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure effective operation flow.Assist in resolving any operational delays or issues that arise.Perform data entry tasks to update logistics software with timely and accurate information.Participate in inventory audits to verify stock and identify discrepancies.Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies at all times.Provide administrative support to the logistics department as needed.Qualifications:Diploma or associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a relevant field.Proven experience in a logistics role or a similar position.Strong understanding of logistics operations and best practices.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Skills:Ability to work effectively in a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with an ability to accurately process and record information.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
