DescriptionAccounts Receivable -Role ProfilePurpose of RoleThe purpose of the role of Receivable Accountant is to support the Assistant Finance & Administration Manager in maintaining and enhancing the schools financial resources by maintaining control over the Trial Balance. They are responsible for overseeing the account receivables in the school. The incumbent supports the Assistant Finance & Administration Manager during audits and preparing month end reports for ISP ME .ISP PrinciplesBegin with our children and students. We positively engage with personal and professional development and school improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCollections of all outstanding debtors receivablesRaising of all revenue InvoicesUnderstanding of deferred income and the accounting thereofBank processing of all AR transactionsHandling queries with parentsReconciliation of debtor accountsBalance sheet reconciliationsIssuing receipts for paymentsIssuing credit notes and revising invoicesSubmit daily and bank balances internally and to groupMaintaining the AR aging with comments and current dataProvide receipts reports for re enrolments and new enrolments to Admissions DailyPrepare all Accounts receivable reports for month end as per ISP timetableLiaise with the external auditors with all accounts receivable queriesPreparing reminders and letters of demand for debtorsAct as a backup for the accountant as and when requiredExecute and monitor SEC Voucher program.Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Finance and Administration Manager and the Assistant Finance Manager.Ability to multitask and work under pressureSTAFF/ RESOURCESWork as a team member sharing expertise, ideas and information.Reports to the Line Manager on administrative and personnel issues and grievances.
