You will also use your regional vantage point to influence the scoping and building of global systems and programs required to drive sustainability progress at global scale.This is a high-impact role that requires a solid understanding of the role of business and society, as well as the environmental, social and governance (ESG) landscape and implications for Amazon. To do well in this role, the candidate must be able to handle complex programs and provide guidance in situations of high ambiguity.This role requires the ability to think big and deliver results, while earning the trust of internal stakeholders across their regions and will need excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of driving complex cross-functional initiatives to their completion.Key job responsibilities Develop specific action plans/ country narratives by working with local sustainability stakeholders to support delivery of Amazon’s sustainability goals, drive systems change and inform our policy advocacy and external engagement strategy. Provide region-centric insights, identify hotspots across social and environmental impact areas, surface priorities to global program roadmaps and strengthen Amazon’s position as a sustainability leader.
