We are looking for motivated and delivery focused Manager/Sr. Manager Business Development – Technology SolutionsJob Summary:The Manager/Sr. Manager of Business Development shall be responsible for Technology Solutions business across Middle East and Africa. With over 80+ Process Licensed Technologies in our portfolio, the role shall be focused on driving business growth in both conventional and energy transition projects. This role requires proactive approach for creating opportunities together with management skills, with seamlessly navigating complex internal interfaces across Product Service Lines (PSL), Operations, Finance, and Legal, while also understanding and navigating client organizations to foster strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will have deep energy industry domain knowledge combined with business development and negotiation skills.Key Responsibilities:Achieve and exceed revenue/Job Income targets and KPIs, demonstrating a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability in the key marketsBusiness development initiatives in MEA, focusing on generating new leads in key regions such as Saudi, Qatar and Sub-Sahara AfricaStrengthen market position within refining, olefins and downstream chemicals segmentsIdentify and capitalize on business opportunities through in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and industry trendsForge and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in NOC’s, IOC’s, EPC partners, project developers and government agencies, to foster collaboration and drive business growthLead high-quality bid and proposal processes, working cross-functionally with technical (PSL), commercial, and operations teams. Managing proposal development, negotiation, and contract signatureCreate deal summaries, highlighting in depth project details, organization charts and action-closure plansDevelop concise reporting summaries on key customer engagement. Including accurate updates to internal stakeholdersRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility, build strategic partnerships, and identify potential business leadsQualifications:At least 8+ years within the energy industry with 5+ years in business development or sales for Technology solutionsBackground in Engineering/Technical preferredProven track record of success with key clients in the MEA regionExperienced in operating at senior levels with clients and internal stakeholdersStrong English communication skills (written and verbal). Arabic (preferred)Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of the local regulatory landscape.Personal Qualities:Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills too close deals.Self-Motivation and Drive – A proactive approach to achieving sales targetsStrategic thinker who is also hands-on and delivery-focused.Ability to travelHigh level of integrity and personal credibility.
