Job DescriptionFamily DescriptionGeneral Management (GM) contains leadership, general operations, and / or management of a business unit, multi-disciplinary team or business support function. Ensures the organisation runs effectively and efficiently. Provides a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness. Contributes to the development and implementation of the business strategy.Subfamily DescriptionGeneral Management (GMA) contains Nokia's business results, leading a unit or function. Covers provision of the strategic vision as well as overall management and ensures performance and quality of own business area or function.Responsibilities❖ Building Hub strategy with special focus on scarce technology capabilities and new product andtechnology ramp up approach.❖ Hiring skilled, result oriented and team player resources.❖ Business orientation and drive for overall MEA business results through top notch delivery capability rampup.❖ Business drive with Hub line management to achieve the regional goals from financials and transformationpoint of view.❖ Coaching & mentoring your team to enhance their performance, increasing self- confidence and supportprofessional growth.❖ Responsible for team capability development to meet business requirements. Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of own organizational unit. Accountable for stream strategy within unit to achieve short- and long-term results. Accountable for business performance including cost efficiency and optimisation for own business area. Is accountable for high quality of processes and standards (EG within own unit or function). Manages people and performance and invests necessary effort on development of direct and contract staff of a stream. Is accountable for resource supply planning, deployment capacity planning and competence development through competence inventory management and cross competence development across sub-streams. Ensures effective utilisation of resources. Responsible for attrition management and retention strategies. Drives cost saving programmes, maximum cost recharge for services provided. Accountable for risk management of overall global delivery scope to Global Delivery Management (GDM). Responsible for maintaining below performance indicators for a stream. Cost Baseline Adherence (CBA) - (Fixed Production Overhead (FPO) and Standard Production Cost (SPC)). Event-based Customer Satisfaction (EBCS) survey scores (related to remote delivery scope). Employee Engagement Index (EEI) and Attrition%. Efficiency target and operational non-financial KPIs.Required SkillsImpactImpact is short to medium term and influences business unit results and/or customer relationships. Accountable for setting function/program goals, managing cost performance and ensuring achievement through people and processes. Decisions and actions will normally impact business, program, project, function. Predominant authority for development of new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy.Scope & ContributionIndividual Contributor: Typically highest level of individual contributor in job family. Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice or expertise across several different disciplines within a function. Command of content of sub function. Recognised thought leader. Typically requires 10-12 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
