This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level Housekeeping individual to learn and grow their careers in one of Dubai's most iconic hotel. Be a part of the Housekeeping team that is focused on driving successful business results.This individual will be responsible many functions in a fast paced Housekeeping team. Additionally, they will support and learn all Housekeeping functions within the department. This will help them gain unparalleled experience to equip them for a bright future in human resources upon completion of their program.What You Will Be DoingManage and supervise all tasks of his/her staffEnsure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to set standards and proceduresSupervise public areasEnsure that guest supplies are replenishedEnsure guests’ requests are promptly and courteously metReport damage or malfunction in hotel rooms using P.M.S systemMaintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repairMaintain a section floor reportConduct daily briefings with staff at floor levelConduct regular room checklistsReport unusual behavior/activities on floors to Assistant Housekeeping ManagerRecord room status in allocated section accuratelyComply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policiesAttend meetings and training sessions as requiredFully understand the difference in guest levels (VIP) and in room categoriesQualificationsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in EnglishMust be well presented and professionally groomed at all timesStrong interpersonal skills and attention to detailMust have good leadership skills and training skillsFull time commitment to a 5* Luxury settingQualificationsDegree from School for Tourism & Hotel Management
