Job Description

Key job responsibilities:• Develop and implement new fraud detection techniques and technologies.• Detect and Investigate fraud activities with urgency in a fast-paced environment.• Propose new methods of fraud prevention.• Developing and implementing action plans for detecting fraudulent activities.• Analyze data from various sources to identify potential risk indicators.• Identify gaps in controls and processes to resolve them accordingly.• Perform investigations, analysis, and reporting of fraud incidents with precise attention to detail, including recommending necessary mitigations.• Collaborate with legal team and law enforcement agents to develop and execute plans for the resolution of a fraud case.• Consult legal team for guidance on specific use cases or escalations.• Work efficiently with an attention to detail in investigations, analysis, reporting fraud incidents with required mitigates and recommendations.• Drafting and presenting deep-dive documents and reports on policy and process gaps.• Maintain record of all investigative operations and results of analysis.• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for detecting fraudulent activities in an organization.• Coach and mentor team members to support their growth and development.• Demonstrate effective leadership to ensure team goals are achieved.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree.• 6 - 8 Years of experience in Fraud Management, investigating, managing, detecting, and preventing all possible fraud activities in pointing Banks/Non-banks industry.• Excellent independent judgment and discretion when making decisions or recommendations in relation to each alert/case investigation.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively lead interactions with both business and technical teams.• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.• Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity and confidentiality• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Preferred Qualifications• SQL is a must-have; Python is a plus.• Work Experience in Fintech.• Familiarity with multiple analytic tools.• A proven track record of successfully delivering initiatives from conception through completion.
