Chief Accountant

An executive recruiter is looking for a Chief Accountant.Roles & ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and implementation of actionable objectives, planning processes, budgets and operational KPIs.Oversee implementation of operational procedures to meet accounting, reporting and disclosure requirements of international accounting standards.Facilitate periodic internal audits and manage monthly/quarterly and yearly closing of books of accounts and prepare financial statements.Lead the provisioning and impairment calculations, in coordination with the concerned business unit, in accordance with the related accounting policy.Manage interactions with external auditors and other parties relating to the financial statements.Review existing policies and procedures and recommend changes to benchmark them with international practices and standards.Ensure strict compliance of policies and procedures with regards to accounting and reporting.Oversee generation of reports that relate to the financial position and performance of the Corporation to the Executive Management and the Board of Directors.Desired Candidate Profile8+ years in finance and accounting.Experience in international accounting standards and construction sector.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics.Fluent in oral and written English language.Arabic Intermediate.BenefitsAccommodation, Medical Insurance, Transportation, Visa, Travel Allowance, Annual Air Ticket, Paid Leaves.#OTHER#OTHER
