About Us:MMI are a dynamic beverage import marketing, sales, retail, and distribution organisation, and our vision is to delight every customer with our passion for quality and service.Headquartered in Dubai, we operate in 42 countries across South and East Africa, the Gulf & Middle East, Southern Europe, Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asia, making us one of the world’s leading independent distributors.At every interaction with our portfolio, events, and outlets, we strive for exceptional experiences for our customers and consumers through innovations like the award-winning Le Clos Finest Wines and Luxury Spirits retail concept to trend-driven brands and e-commerce and through operational efficiency and the highest standards of customer service at every touch point.Job Purpose:This role will be instrumental in shaping business strategy to boost profits and market share with a focus on leading a team of Key Account Managers, enhancing customer relationships, and positioning MMI as the top beverage partner.Key Responsibilities:Lead and motivate a team of Key Account Managers to surpass revenue, profit, and brand distribution targets.Engage in high-level contract negotiations to expand market share and optimize revenue and profits.Conduct formal quarterly reviews with top accounts, ensuring alignment with annual plans and addressing variances.Strengthen senior customer relationships to maximize revenue potential and collaborate with the Wine team to identify growth opportunities.Required Qualifications and Experience:A minimum of 5 years in sales, with 3 years in a relevant On Trade environment (5-star hotels, bars, restaurants, nightclubs).Proven team management experience for at least 3 years.Exceptional analytical, commercial, networking, and communication skills.Strong team leadership abilities and a results-driven approach.Preferred Skill and Experience:University degree and WSET qualification (preferably WSET Level 3 or higher).Excellent numerical skills and commercial acumen are advantageous.Familiarity with the beverage industry, particularly in 5-star hospitality environments, is essential for this role.What we offer:Join a team of experienced professionals who are experts in the industry.
