Legal Director – Infrastructure Investments

The organization is currently seeking a Legal Director to oversee all legal matters related to its international infrastructure investments. This pivotal role involves providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing contracts, and contributing to the company’s ambitious growth strategy. The Legal Director will be based in Abu Dhabi, where the organization is headquartered.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic legal advice on international infrastructure investments.Oversee negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.Manage legal due diligence for potential investments and transactions.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Collaborate with internal stakeholders for legal support and guidance.Represent the organization in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations.Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and industry best practices.Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and advisors.Required Experience:Minimum of 10 years of law practice, focusing on international transactions and infrastructure investments.Senior legal role experience in the infrastructure sector is highly desirable.Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.Deep understanding of international business and legal frameworks.Proven track record in managing legal aspects of complex international transactions.Expected Duties:Effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Lead and manage a legal team independently.Willingness to travel internationally as needed.Required Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.#OTHER#OTHER
