We help them to become more efficient and provide support as they adapt to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing business environment.Sub-Business Unit Overview: Deals Advisory:Deals Advisory helps clients see beyond immediate challenges to future opportunities. By giving clients, the confidence to make the right decision at the right time, we empower businesses with the tools to drive strategic change.Role OverviewOwns deliverables/areas of an Engagement/Project with some input delivering quality outputs, andhelping review the work of less experienced members of the Engagement/Project team Contributesto the planning and delivery of engagements including work plans, timelines, project managementand resource allocation. May manage small engagements depending on experience and businessarea Builds and maintain strong relationships with middle to senior level staff internally andexternally.Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities Preparing first class pitch / proposal materials Developing and maintaining complex financial models for a variety of projects Transaction structuring Business case development Buy side & Sell side M&A advisory Procurement options analysis Completes tasks and deliverables to a good standard as part of client engagements - working to an agreed plan, budget, and quality. Preparation of Information Memorandum Preparation of teaser document and investor marketing materials Experience of performing Financial due diligence engagements Begins to take on more responsibility in engagement and may own certain deliverables. This may include project/engagement planning and administration, creation/review of outputs, and client interactions. At times assists Managers and Associate Directors to supervise less experienced team members on engagements–reviewing and providing guidance on deliverables. Experience of working on valuation engagements Debt raising / financial close. Supporting senior team members in their origination efforts Completes report writing, presentations and proposal preparation with some guidance.Qualification And Experience At least 5-6 years of relevant M&A engagements, as well as have an understanding and experience of working on Financial due diligence / Valuation engagements across sectors Excellent financial modelling skills (use of VBA and macros). Good ability to prepare presentations and report. Should have experience of managing a team. Exposure to debt restructuring/ debt refinancing would be a distinct advantage. Strong academic record including a post graduate degree from a reputed institution, ACA, CPA, CFA etc. Ability to develop a professional network. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially to present findings to senior management. Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
