Job Overview

We are looking for a talented mid-senior level backend developer who will design, improve, implement, and release software that meets functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensure high-quality, reusability, and clean code.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand and support customer needs and requirements.
• Documenting APIs and writing reports.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
• Work with different software technologies to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with expertise in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, HTML, and C++.
• Knowledgeable and/or experienced with computational notebooks like Jupyter, Mathematica, Observable
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries and concepts is a plus.
• Demonstrable track record of success in a technical engineering role, including clear demonstration of contribution and delivery in a product-centric environment.
• Back-End Web Development and Programming skills
• Experience in Web Development
• Experience JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks (Node.js).
• Experience in API design and development.
• Experience in microservices and container technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge in dealing with Database MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work with a diverse team and ability to communicate effectively.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent supervisory skills, with demonstrated track record of supervising a small to mid-sized team
• Well organized and can work relatively independently

Contract Length

24 Months; Full-time – Subjected to annual renewal.
