Job Description
- Proactively research and identify potential furniture suppliers, utilizing industry resources, trade shows, and online platforms.
- Conduct thorough due diligence evaluations, assessing quality, pricing, compliance, capacity, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts, securing optimal terms and conditions aligned with our company's goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery timelines, and contractual agreements.
- Stay informed about furniture industry trends, sourcing practices, and market fluctuations.
- Identify and propose opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency in supplier partnerships.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supplier acquisition or procurement, ideally within the furniture industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
