Job Description
- plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods and services.
- Verify goods reach their destination in a timely manner.
- Develop forecasting plans to maintain enough inventory.
- Confirm Purchase orders freight terms before issuing in terms of freight term and documents
- Manage shipments with customs broker
- Manage import and export shipments in terms of shipping
- Confirm all needed documents for Sea/Air shipments with the suppliers
- Book import/export shipments with freight forwarders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Management/Accounting/Logistics
- Fluent English language is a must
- A minimum 5 years experience in logistics
- Previous experience in logistics
- Previous experience in import/export cycle (nafeza)
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving
