HEAD/EXECUTIVE CHEFOur client, a family of unique food concepts that are built on sustainability and delicate culinary excellence who operate premium international brands including FERDI, Philippe Chow, Beef Bar, Novikov, and more, apart from amazing local brands well known for their authenticity and original Kuwaiti taste, is looking for an skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team of a newly opened premium fine dining restaurant in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious dishes as well as a strong leadership ability to manage and inspire a team of chefs, and a proven track record of success in a high-pressure kitchen environment. As the Head Chef, He/She will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning to food preparation to kitchen organization and management. He/She will work closely with the management team to ensure that guests receive an exceptional dining experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain a high-quality menu that reflects the restaurant's overall vision and goals.Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including ingredient selection, cooking techniques, and presentation.Create and implement recipes and menu items that meet the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.Manage kitchen inventory and ordering to ensure that all ingredients are available for menu items and daily specials.Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they meet the restaurant's standards for quality and performance.Develop and maintain relationships with local food suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality, fresh ingredients.Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.Monitor kitchen safety and sanitation practices to ensure that the restaurant meets all health codes and safety standards.Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational policies and procedures that ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen.QUALIFICATIONS:At least 5 years of experience as Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or similar environmentExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and the ability to create new and innovative dishes.Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of inventory management and food cost control. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others and build relationships with customers and staff alike.A degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, but not required.MUST have worked or CURRENTLY works in any EUROPEAN country (relocation provided)SALARY & OTHERS:Competitive SalaryHousing Accommodation (Independent to managerial positions and shared for non-managerial)Company transport from accommodation to work and back.
