Job Description

  • Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the company’s operations division.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, and processes in support of Company operations including Facility management, supply chain management, and QHSES; implement and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes to maintain corporate identity across all company parks.
  • Develop or execute strategies to address sustainability issues such as energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, transportation, education, and building design.
  • Plan, organize, maintain, and manage the operations and reliability of company facilities and general infrastructure systems. Design, establish and monitor preventative maintenance processes and programs and facility inspection processes for on-going review of maintenance work.
  • Oversee Supply Chain management activities that include all inventory, supplies, and capital goods purchases associated with company and all its related parks, which include: managing RFPs, and establishing contracts with suppliers and contractors; planning and executing HO and parks maintenance related work; monitoring spending on projects and cost account basis; recommending and implementing corrective spending plans; reviewing and authorizing purchase orders; administering contracts; obtaining price quotes and bids; purchasing and approving parks purchases, and ensuring compliance with Company’s rules.
  • Oversee company’s safety, security, and accessibility of company’s head office, parks, and all other Company facilities. Design related policies and serve as the point of contact for emergency situations with all external parties (e.g. Governmental Authorities, emergency, police, and Fire departments, etc.); compliance issues, facility improvement projects, and/or other safety and security related issues.
  • Develop, administer, and control company’s operations and maintenance budget; coordinates the allocation of resources following budget approval; recommends approval of expenditures.
  • Monitor and oversee the work of external contractors to ensure terms of agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily
  • Gather, and analyze a variety of complex data and information, including utility costs and usage. Perform statistical analysis and summarize findings in applicable reports to company’s senior management.
  • Participates in/on a variety of meetings, committees, task forces, and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding company’s mission, vision, strategic progressions & updates, services, programs, areas of opportunity, and/or other pertinent information as appropriate.
  • Supervise administrative services skilled and technical/support staff. Hire, evaluate, train, discipline and recommend dismissal of staff, as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments within the Company’s head- office and/or on park level, the community, and external agencies to provide information on available resources, projects, and/or services.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business administration required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or any relevant disciplines.

Minimum Experience:

  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 15 years of experience in Operations, Facility Management, Administration, Materials & Logistics, preferably in the real estate and/or hospitality industries.

Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Prior practical experience in leading Engineering and Maintenance projects/activities.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
