Job Description
The Support Engineer in this role needs to support the SAP modules Finance & HR. and other systems such as CAR Pro Systems, Web Technologies & Mobile Apps (Android & iOS)
The Support Engineer is responsible for assisting our employees by:
- Troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing solutions for reported incidents. It also is a combination of post go‐live support and/or system administration.
Main responsibilities include the following:
- Analyze incidents, research solutions, and provide answers easily understood by employees
- Troubleshooting complex problems and provide the best available solution or workaround within the agreed service levels
- Document solutions to known issues and consulting questions
- Develop technical solutions to be posted to both internal and external knowledge base
- Liaising with Development Teams and Store Teams to identify application errors and missing product functionalities for future releases (legal/non-legal requirements)
- Liaising with Development Management to identify and report application errors
- Document issues in a system and create a tracking tool
- Act as a liaison between our Product Management and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with other employees by providing important feedback, process‐improvement suggestions, new troubleshooting tips and other actions that involve improving our services.
- Diagnose databases for performance and stability and provide recommendations to optimize.
- Empower Employees with industry best practice for operations
- Contribute to the teams be one-stop-shop for systems issues
- Act as the SPOC between different technical vendors and the company
- Analysis of business requirements and gaps in customer solutions
- Design of specific software requirements within the company
- Perception and navigation beyond key functional area with understanding of integration between different SAP modules, and other integrated systems
- Delivery of Assessment and Optimization of services and supporting critical Escalations to various vendors
- BackOffice support for critical issue resolution in your functional or technical area of expertise
- Act as Liaison for critical customers, accepting responsibility for effective and proactive solution or system management and issue resolution

- Learn the latest SAP, Web and Mobile app technologies, database, and platform technologies for support
- Support Customer queries and troubleshoot issues for smooth operations
- Monitor implementation activities for SAP core products.
- Monitor development of other systems
- Monitoring software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) during internal and external projects
Job Requirements
- Understanding the technical differences between on premise and cloud-based solutions
- Knowledge in Customer Infrastructure and Technology: Good knowledge of most common operating systems
- MS Office Suite and basic networking concepts.
- Good understanding of mobile devices & technologies, web services concepts as well as HTTP/HTTP protocols and XML knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of a programming language (preferable an object-oriented language) would be an advantage.
- Understanding general use of add-ons, SSL certificates and system communications and security protocols
- Analytics: Understanding of report capabilities, how report fetches data
- Customization concepts in analytics and features such as broadcasts, cloud data sources, KPIs would be preferred.
- Knowledge in business processes would be an advantage.
Experience
- Mobility: Supporting our customers and employees in taking their business and operations to the next level
- SAP Finance & HR Modules and other skills such as Web technologies such as Laravel, Flutter, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, iOS, and Android
- 5 years’ Experience Required in a Car rental or Retail with multi outlets.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in real customer support related engineering projects to support innovative solutions or enhancements to meet business requirements or to improve overall business process performance
Educational Qualifications
- Technical Graduate such as B. Tech, B.E, MCA, MSc. In in Business information systems would be advantageous.
