Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
including: (month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash
receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity).
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or
statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Job Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in retail or manufacturing industries.
- Age should not exceed 40 years.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
- Strong experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
