Job Description

MRO Procurement Manager support the Procurement team and apply company supplier strategy, by delivering KPI’s. the purpose of the job is to focus on executing excellent supplier relationships to all key suppliers, and provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes covering the indirect procurement "maintenance, repair, and operations" as the scope of business.

- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategically develop, implement and optimize vendor management processes, tools and policies to achieve optimum benefits.
- Maintain as strong relationship with the current suppliers and establish a network with new once.
- Maintain, source, and engage with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timelines of deliveries.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure ongoing advantageous terms.
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing financial feasibility and technical computability.
- Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
- Assist in developing the procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Communicate with management regularly regarding the efficient handling of goods and services affecting production.
- Ensure on-time delivery of all purchases and materials to the support business needs.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvement.
- Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
- Ensure compliance with management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost and quality.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preference Mechanical Dept.
  • APICS, CISCP, CISCM, CISCC certification(s).
  • 14+ years of experience in the same field.
  • Preparing an action plan and defining the management strategy to achieve the desired business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Multitask and agility in handling challenges and adapting to different circumstances.
