Job Description
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies in accordance with company procedures.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization and easy retrieval of items.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Issue materials and supplies to project teams based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to track deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement logs, and other documentation as required.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of storekeeping policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 6 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience in a construction or industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
