Job Description
- Perform other related duties as Per the Top Management Vision.
- Perform the Functions of The Financial Manager in case of his Absence
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Manage the monthly closing process
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Monitor and record financial transactions
- Ensure the accuracy of the data contained in the accounting records.
- Prepare financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, account receivables, expenses, etc.
- Cooperate with External auditors in reviewing the financial statement.
- Ensure that the finance team is informed of their roles and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. of commerce, a professional certification in Accounting highly desired, Master Degree preferred.
- Effective communication skills (good listener, positive, supportive, clear, constructive, and accessible) both written and verbal.
- Excellent MS skills required and ERP knowledge highly desired
- Proven experience in taxation.
- Strong leadership, management, and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in higher education institutions
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- An advanced financial certificate high recommended.
- The high command of the English language
