Job Description
- Supervise and manage daily production activities in the furniture and upholstery workshop.
- Coordinate with design, cutting, carpentry, and upholstery teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste while maintaining product quality.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures related to upholstered furniture.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of machinery and tools (e.g., staplers, foam cutters, sewing machines).
- Solve technical and production-related problems on the shop floor.
- Maintain accurate production records and report key performance metrics.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, with hands-on involvement in upholstery processes.
- Strong knowledge of raw materials (wood, foam, fabric, leather, etc.).
- Familiar with manufacturing tools and machinery used in upholstery and furniture production.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate workshop teams.
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and production planning tools.
