Job Description
- Coordinate with production and project teams to track manufacturing stages.
- Review technical and shop drawings to align production with project goals.
- Attend internal and external project progress meetings.
- Prepare weekly progress reports comparing actual vs. planned timelines.
- Identify and resolve any issues causing delays (design, supply, quality, etc.).
- Coordinate with the quality team to ensure work is done per specifications.
- Use nesting software (e.g., SigmaNEST, Lantek) to generate CNC cutting files.
- Analyze engineering drawings to extract cutting details.
- Generate and transfer cutting programs (G-Code) to CNC machines.
- Maximize plate utilization and minimize scrap rate.
- Coordinate with the design and cutting teams for revisions and updates.
- Inspect cut components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structure project follow-up.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings (IFC, Shop Drawings).
- Good command of MS Excel and project management tools (MS Project or Primavera).
- Knowledge of steel plate types and cutting techniques (Plasma, Laser, etc.).
