Job Description
* Position Summary
• Handing over and continued jobs to next shift clearly and smoothly.
• Distributing jobs/work orders to available service men/technicians/craftsmen, taking into account the capability of each.
• Initiate periodic/ random inspections in various stages of work, follow up the jobs during his shift and resolve any unforeseen problems.
• Receiving breakdown calls from Shift Supervisor and assign a group according to work requirement and priorities.
• Check jobs after completion to ensure proper service/repair.
• Enforce safety standards in line with company policy and government regulations.
• Maintaining good house-keeping practices in all equipment and working areas.
• Assist in training technicians whenever required to increase work efficiency.
• Perform other duties as may be requested by his supervisor.
• Fully comply with all SCCT HSSE policies, Departmental SOPs etc.
• Promote a culture to ensure full compliance with all applicable Safety Standards.
• Take diligent care of all SCCT property and materials.
• Actively participate in relevant SCCT, AM and HSSE Process Improvement initiatives, other Continuous Improvement Programs and initiatives.
• Ensure that all his subordinates thoroughly understand all relevant work procedures.
• Ensure all subordinates fully understand and comply with all SCCT, AM and HSSE SOPs.
• Personally visit at regular intervals work site where his subordinates are working.
-Ensure proper communication channels are established for each work group.
Job Requirements
• University degree, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
• 1 year in Port Equipment or similar heavy Equipment, preferably who got training courses on heavy Equipment.
• Recommended experience on PLC, Drives, motors, generators & control circuits.
• Ability to work on a shifting roaster, under pressure and solve problems.
• Willing to learn modern technologies and practices.
• Develop innovative inspection monitoring and maintenance techniques to ensure reliability and availability of equipment.
• Effective motivational and leadership capabilities.
• Satisfactory interpersonal communication skills.
• Reasonable English language oral, written communications and report writing skills.
• Flexible in managing his shift and making proper decisions.
• Very good skills of understanding and reading electrical/ electronic drawings, also follow up diagrams.
