About the role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant to a Legal Accountant to support financial and legal accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, tax filings, document preparation, and general administrative duties. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work under deadlines.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and audits.
- Support VAT, income tax, and other legal tax filings.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with legal accounting standards.
- Assist in drafting contracts, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Organize and manage confidential financial and legal files.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and financial institutions as required.
- Conduct research on financial regulations and legal tax requirements.
- Handle office administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and maintaining correspondence.
- Assist with financial reconciliations and banking transactions.
- Stay updated on local accounting laws and tax regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a legal accounting environment (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.

- Prior experience in a legal or financial firm is a plus
