What will you be doing?

Develop, implement, and manage production processes and workflows to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures and address any deviations or issues.
Optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.
Oversee maintenance schedules and procedures for production equipment to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment for employees and minimize workplace accidents.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, and supply chain to coordinate production activities and achieve overall business objectives.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation related to processes, quality control, maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify conformity with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures and procedures to maintain consistent product quality and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality control documentation. Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and document any non-conforming products or processes. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Perform equipment calibrations, validations, and functional tests as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing procedures and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, optimize workflows, and reduce waste or defects.
  • Train production team on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues, conduct supplier audits, and ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience as a quality control professional.
  • Experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within a manufacturing or  related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO standards related to quality management systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of Product Release Certificate (PRC) processes is a plus.
  • Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry or related sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including rotational night shifts, morning shifts as required by production schedules and operational needs.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions
