Job Description
- Project Studying and making equipment specification.
- Selecting models according to the specification of the equipment.
- Pricing for selecting models which varied to imported equipment from different brands and local equipment.
- Reviewing the offers which include technical equipment catalogs for the project and the financial support for the project prices.
- Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Estimation Manager for discussion and proper solution.
- Develop full-scope estimates based on drawings.
- Participate in technical proposals for Alternative Delivery projects
- Provide detailed quantity take off of specific trades when required
- Develops unit costs accurately
- Perform technical/plan review when required
- Updates estimation database based on new price lists, custom duties updates & company pricing policies.
- Attend pre-sales meetings.
- Assist in project design and model selection.
- Perform any task assigned by line manager.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of experience in technical office
- Mechanical or Mechatronics Bachelor's degree from a reputable University.
- Fluent in English Language
- Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, estimation soft wares.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- Very good negotiation skills.
- High follow through drive and high self-motivation with an ability to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must possess the highest levels of maturity, ethics and professional integrity.
- Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,).
- Very good command of written & spoken English and Arabic.
- Excellent skills of dealing with different internet applications.
