Job Description
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, including the establishment of project plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with business users.
Develops tactical and operational plans, project budgets, and may manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
Allocates the duties of project resources to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule.
Reviews regular progress reports from the team and thereafter submits to leadership.
Facilitates the decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion, and makes steady and agreed upon progress on assigned programs/projects.
Develops, enhances, and monitors project management methodologies, ensuring that a streamlined process exists, and provides evidence that all projects are implemented and successfully delivered to meet standards and requirements.
Builds relationships with technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation, manages and mitigates risk, and ensures that a change control process is in place.
Identifies, implements, and ensures that consistent standards of delivery excellence are disseminated, leveraged, and continuously improved across the organization.
Identifies training and development of lower level professional staff in relation to projects and procedures.
Conducts performance evaluations and career development discussions with support and lower level professional project management staff.
