Product Engineer

As a product engineer, you will be responsible for developing complete testing and characterization solutions for multidisciplinary products having mechanical, optical and electrical components. You will own building different testing set-ups including software and hardware parts to achieve automated testing for various products. You will be working closely with different contract manufacturers across the globe to install, train and maintain your testing solutions at their sites. You will work closely with the production and system teams to provide them with various data and parameters extracted from the production lines to monitor different products yield and performance. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop and procure necessary hardware and software to create complete automated test solutions for development and production purposes. 
• Install the testing solutions at the contract manufacturer site and help maintain them calibrated, achieving the target yield and meeting the overall specifications.
• Smart automated data collection and data crunching for various measurements done on the production line to provide final results. Analyze results and communicate the observations and recommendation to the corresponding teams.
• Create required documentation including test design, instructions, specifications, drawings, verification, test results generation and analysis. 
• Work closely with the System, MEMS and Optics teams insuring to come up with various parameters needed to qualify the parts under test and achieve target yield and throughput.
