About Bydotpy: Bydotpy is a dynamic software development firm located in the Fifth Settlement. With a focus on innovative backend systems, user-friendly front-end interfaces, and cutting-edge mobile applications, we are on the lookout for a creative and driven Graphic Designer and Content Creator to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team and help us develop and maintain various software projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Node.js, be well-versed in JavaScript and its latest standards, and have a passion for writing efficient and maintainable code. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services using Node.js and its ecosystem.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle: planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Node.js and the JavaScript ecosystem.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience working with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including its latest features and best practices.
- Familiarity with popular Node.js frameworks and libraries, such as Express, Koa, or Hapi.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Knowledge of database technologies, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with testing and debugging tools, such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
- Good understanding of code performance optimization and scalability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural best practices.
work condition:
- 5 working days: Sunday to Thursday
- working hours 10 Am to 6 Pm.
