Spare Parts Manager

Job Purpose:

The parts manager is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction by supplying all customers in after-sales channels with the necessary parts at the right time at the right amount. Main duties include the following:

• To have proper coordination with Brands.
• To coordinate with Sales distributors & Service team to know market demands & dynamics.
• To visit workshops on regular basis to ensure seamless flow of operations.
• To ensure good service ratio to workshops, counter customers.
• To review inventory levels of parts across all warehouses.
• To prepare Management Information System (MIS).
• To ensure Stock months < 5 months & Back order ratio, < 5%.
• To coordinate & guide other warehouse locations to maintain optimum inventory levels.
• To ensure the parts received from Brands are as per invoice & check for any discrepancy.
• To ensure Stock received is updated in system within a prescribed time limit.
• To ensure correct parts quantity are received at branches & outlets as per their order quantity & clear previous back orders.
• To work on constant process improvements in day to day operations & remove redundancies to improve overall productivity.
• To maintain parts warehouse as per each brand CI norms / processes.
• To take necessary steps towards efficient space utilization in the warehouse for creating new locations etc. - To maintain skill matrix for all Warehouse team members & conduct training sessions on a periodical basis to enhance their skill capabilities.
