Job Description

As a Physical Security Engineer at SensorTec, you will play a key role in configuring, testing, and demonstrating advanced security systems while serving as the primary technical contact during demos and POCs. You’ll leverage your expertise in ELV, IP-based systems, and networking to diagnose and resolve complex issues, ensuring optimal system performance. Your responsibilities will include conducting training sessions, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge security solutions. Candidates should hold a degree in a related engineering field, have 1–3 years of relevant experience, and possess strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Linux, MS Office tools, and relevant certifications are highly desirable.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Work Location: This role is designated for SensorTec projects in Egypt. The candidate will work locally in
Egypt, reporting remotely to SensorTec UAE Office.
- Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Reporting to Senior Technical Engineer - Technical Department.
- Four months paid evaluation period.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining a deep understanding of SensorTec’s products, solutions and services.
- Staying updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.
- Responding to client’s inquiries and diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Conducting products and systems configuration, operation, testing and validation.
- Conducting products and systems demonstrations to showcase features and capabilities.
- Planning and managing the execution of POCs to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the product and
systems in the client's environment.
- Acting as the primary technical point of contact during the demo and POC phases.
- Analyzing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals and technical guides.
- Developing technical materials and conducting technical training sessions for clients and internal staff.
- Working closely with other teams such as sales, presales and development.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science Engineering, or arelated field.
- Minimum 1-3 years proven work experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ELV, and Physical Security Systems.
- Knowledge of various security systems and surveillance technologies and familiarity with IP-based systems
and digital security technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining physical security system hardware and software.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a fluent English to assist clients and convey technical
information clearly.
- Patience and empathy when dealing with clients’ issues.
- Attention to small details and careful setup, configuration and maintenance of products and systems.
- Experienced in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Independence and self-reliance.
- Certifications in security systems, network administration, or other relevant areas is a plus.
- Experience in Linux OS is a must.
- ITIL4, MSAC Certifications is a plus.
