Job Description
- Draft a project specific Quality plans, quality procedures and interface with third party suppliers, key partners, Client
- Prepare the related project Inspection test plan –ITP and MST
- Planning, scheduling and performance of QA activities and Audit for KAC Cluster.
- Perform inspections and tests as required by the discipline all Electrical & Instrumentation installation activities at site.
- Review and Monitor inspection / test reports and maintain the QA/QC files related to assignment
- Assist with tracking and logging Non-Conformance Reports, Quality / Productivity Improvement Reports.
- Implementation of quality plan for the assigned project, which include inspection, testing and proper documentation.
- Ensure that all works complied with client / contractor issued drawing, applicable standards and specification.
- Ensure that all related inspection and testing activities with regards to Environment, Health & Safety procedures and maintenance rules are respected.
- Monitor the work performance to ensure the respect of work standards and project specifications.
- Perform proactive surveillance inspection to minimize or avoid discrepancy and non-conformance rectification cost and time.
- Coordinate and assist construction to resolve any encountered problems related to inspection and testing activities.
- Ensure the effective coordination with the client related to Site inspection, testing activities and documentation.
- Maintain all Quality Control Report.
- Control and monitoring of material flow to site, controlling of drawing as per contract and client requirement.
- Making of internal punch list for incomplete works and to submit to site manager and the project manager for further action plan with routine follow up for closure.
- Conduct material in section and verify the materials as per the purchase order requirements and from approved vendor, and assure the quality standards as per project specification.
- Responsible for all as built drawings of the substation project along with all the drawings, cable schedules, test reports.
- Responsible for preparation of all types of reports which will be required by the client or the project team. • Keep records of all drawings in Substation make sure that construction is according to the approved revisions.
- Keep Records of all test reports and changes suggested by KAC and Consultants and ensure proper mark ups approved signatures.
- Calibration of the testing equipment's and records maintenance at site.
- Start Capturing Positive/Negative feedbacks from the customer.
- Introduction of Checklists during the Installation, Testing and Commissioning stages etc...
- Introduction of Method of statements by coordinating with project, safety depts.
- Corrected NC’s rechecked to ensure conformance. Maintain the Corrective and Preventive action reports at site.
- Coordination with the Project dept at site to close the raised NC's.
- Recognize, evaluate, recommend, prepare and implement policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with QA requirements of the KAC cluster.
- Plan / Conduct / Lead audits of QA programs to identify and control significant loss producing exposure.
- Follow up the performance (KPI) standards and objectives and measure progress toward these goals.
- Keep fully informed on all existing and proposed changes in QA regulations
- Manage Employee QA training Program, including developing, implementing and evaluating effectiveness.
- Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required by KAC.
- Notify of existing procedures for optimum results and/or develop new procedures as necessary.
- Manage QA activities of staff and sub-contractors.
- Ensure that staff is accountable and committed to a safe and accident-free working environment and are in compliance with conduct of operations.
- Develop QA audit and inspection process
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process for Quality Assurance
- Work with sectors, Environmental Department, Engineering and Standards Compliance Quality Control Department, and others to ensure alignment
- Create monthly and other reports and populate with coordinated data and trending analysis to KAC Quality Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction environmental.
- Certified ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Lead Auditor with IRCA/ASQ
- Certified PMP is advantage
- Good Knowledge of Construction and Engineering processes.
- Ability to organize and manage tasks.
- Strong writing and oral communication skills and ability to organize and manage tasks. Strong computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Application including MS Word, MS Excel, MS , Power BI Access and PowerPoint Presentation.
